The broad pharmacological spectrum of efficacy and in particular the inhibition of the 5-lipoxigenase permit an effective corticoid-free therapy with ICHTHYOL® products. Especially the products containing ICHTHYOL® Sodium Pale are appropriate for a faster change from the corticoid-therapy which shows strong side effects, to a gentle and effective application.
